2. Apply lubricant of the thermometer and place in the dog's rectum
3. Record results

-Shock
1.Relax the animal
2. Check heart rate
3. Write down results and repeat
Respiration procedures
Based on:
-Rate
-Depth (Deep breaths, normal breaths, or short breaths)
-Character (Fast or slow)
1.Check that animal is not panting
2.Calm the animal down
3. Look a chest or use stethoscope to check respiration rate
